Louis-Louis & Truna

Louis-Louis & Truna revise the short films by the Spanish film director Segundo de Chomon (1905-1911): special effects genius, pioneer of phantasmagoric film, Spanish master of “white magic” and great rival of Méliès.

Launched in 2010 by Les Chiroux, Ping.Pong is a project that proposes to explore the relationships between the eye and the ear, and vice versa, by organising events which each enable new encounters between images and music / music and images. The goal is for the audience to discover new musicians, without reserve of style and of all genres (classical, elctro, jazz, etc.), and also “image makers” who produce both still and moving images (photographers, video artists, film makers, etc.) This meeting of the two senses – each one a first of its kind – results in a concert of images and images of music as the different disciplines enrich and stimulate each other.
